The Tiantong National Forest Park is located a few kilometres away from Ningbo City, at the Taibai Mountain area. Being a popular tourist attraction in Ningbo, the park covers a total area of over 300 hectares and is home to an abundance of flora and fauna, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts. Over 1,000 species of plants can be found at Tiantong National Forest Park including rare medicinal herbs and fine tree species. It can be visited throughout the year - even during winter. The Tiantong National Forest Park belongs to the Tiantong Scenic Spot along with Tiantong Temple - an ancient Zen Buddhist temple. The park is the ideal place to visit for nature lovers, photography enthusiasts as well as travellers who simply wish to spend a few leisurely hours in Ningbo.
