The Tiantong National Forest Park is located a few kilometres away from Ningbo City, at the Taibai Mountain area. Being a popular tourist attraction in Ningbo, the park covers a total area of over 300 hectares and is home to an abundance of flora and fauna, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts. Over 1,000 species of plants can be found at Tiantong National Forest Park including rare medicinal herbs and fine tree species. It can be visited throughout the year - even during winter. The Tiantong National Forest Park belongs to the Tiantong Scenic Spot along with Tiantong Temple - an ancient Zen Buddhist temple. Though designated prayer facilities at Tiantong National Forest Park will be unavailable for Muslim travellers, plenty of open private space is available at the park that can be made use of during prayer times.
