When in Nice, a visit to the world famous Promenade des Anglais is a must. The 7 kilometre Promenade; as it is known by its locals runs along the pebbly shores of the Mediterranean and is the perfect place to people watch. It is also ideal for a leisurely stroll, and lining the shores are numerous royal blue chairs which are great for those looking for a bit of relaxation. The bustling Promenade is also where people come to roller blade, ride bikes, and jog. Tourists wanting to see the whole Promenade can also rent a segway on rue Halevy. Visitors to the Promenade must also make it a point to visit Colline du Château, which is located at the end of the Promenade.
