Visiting the USS Midway Museum is an experience like no other and an unforgettable adventure for the whole family. The USS Midway Museum, located in downtown San Diego, at the Broadway Pier on the San Diego Embarcadero, is one of San Diego’s most popular attractions. Visitors get the chance to see what it would be like to live at sea without actually leaving the port, by boarding the massive aircraft carrier known to have a 50 year history. They also get to explore the floating city; which is the longest-serving Navy aircraft carrier of the 20th century. On the self-guided audio tour, which is narrated by Midway sailors, visitors will come across over 60 exhibits with a collection of 25 vintage restored aircraft, and will also get to see the ship’s engine room, machine shops, the crew's sleeping quarters, jail and post office, interactive exhibits, flight simulators, climb-in aircraft and cockpits among others. With so much to do and see, both adults and kids are sure to be occupied for hours at the USS Midway Museum.

Muslims visiting the USS Midway Museum will not be able to find prayer facilities.
