Prayer Facilities

Like most other attractions in New York, the Flushing Meadows–Corona Park does not offer prayer facilities for Muslim visitors. But because the park is so large, Muslims will be able to find plenty of clean and quiet areas outdoors to offer their prayers. Muslim tourists could also make use of the facilities offered at one of the several mosques and Islamic Centers in Queens, such as the Muslim Center of New York, Masjid Al-Fallah, the Islamic Guidance Center of Queens and the Elmhurst Muslim Center.

Halal Food

There are numerous cafés and food carts located throughout the Flushing Meadows–Corona Park. Visitors will therefore be able to fine a selection of food items to suit all tastes and budget. Muslim visitors could dine on suitable vegetarian and seafood dishes from these eateries, or they could visit one of the many Halal restaurants in Queens. The borough of Queens is in fact known to be one of the best areas in New York to find Halal food.
