The Marmaris Mountains offers spectacular wonderful landscapes, away from life in the city of Marmaris. Spending some time out on the rocky terrain with surrounding greenery is one of the best ways for travellers to experience the sheer beauty of the Turkish outdoors. To explore the surrounding mountainside, the best option is to travel through the winding paths via a jeep to the pine-forested mountain area and then hike down trail by foot. The hike will offer delightful views of the village and a number of glittery lakes in the distance. Nature-enthusiasts will also discover an abundance of wildlife and birdlife in the area. The spectacular views and surrounding scenery have made hiking a popular activity in the city of Marmaris.
