Guangzhou is a beautiful and impressive city that attracts visitors of all age groups. Set among peaceful surroundings, Guangzhou is located on the north of the Pearl River Delta. For Muslim travellers, Guangzhouis a good travel destination. The city has a few mosques include the oldest mosque of China, the Huaisheng Mosque. There are also several halal restaurants all around the city that serve excellent food.
Guangzhou is home to a number of natural and manmade attractions. The city features a number of museums that explore the history and heritage of the area. Some of the best museums in the city include the Guangzhou Museum, Guangdong Museum and the Guangdong Museum of Art. There are several theme parks and green spaces in Guangzhou that travellers would love to visit. The Xiangjiang Wild Animal Safari Park and the Guangzhou Xiangjiang Safari Park are worth visiting. A walk in the Yuntai Garden and a ride along the Pearl River is highly recommended. Surrounded by lush greenery the Yuntai Gardenis a beautiful place to spend some time in.
For shopping lovers, the city offers a wonderful and memorable shopping experience. There are several street markets and shopping malls where visitors can find a number of items to buy. Some of the best street markets include the Qingping Market, the Xiguan Antique Street, Cultural Street, Haiyin Shopping District, Jade Street, etc. There are also a number of modern shopping malls that offer some great deals. Some of the most visited shopping malls in Guangzhou include Mayflower Plaza, China Plaza, Grandview Mall and Tee Mall.

Nearby Airports

The Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the main airport that serves Guangzhou. The airport is located about 28 Km from the city centre. The best way to reach the city is via the Metro Line 3. A trip to the Tiyu Xilu Metro station or the East Railway Station ideally costs around ¥12 and takes about an hour. Taxis are also available from the airport to the city; a ride to the city centre can cost around ¥120. Visitors can also take the airport express bus, which costs around ¥16.

Guangzhou has a few mosques where Muslim travellers can stop to pray. The Great Mosque of Guangzhou is the main mosque in Guangzhou. It is also known as the Huaisheng Mosque or Guangta Mosque and is known to be one of the oldest mosques in Guangzhou.
