Pattaya Beach is the main beach in the area that runs throughout the city. There are several shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment spots dotted along the beach. Jomtien Beach is a favourite stop among family vacationers. The Wong Phra Chan Beach is a secluded destination on the northern end of the Pattaya Bay.

The city also has a few museums that define and preserve the culture of the area. The Anek Kuson Sala (Wihan Sian) is a wonderful art gallery with several pieces of architecture and excellent historic art work. The Liam’s Gallery showcases original art work from South East Asia and Thailand. Pattaya also has numerous theme parks and zoos where visitors can see natural beauty and also native plants and animals. Some of the theme parks that are good to visit include the Mini Siam, Three Kingdoms Theme Park, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and the Siriphon Orchid Farm.

Pattaya also offers visitors some great shopping options. Whether you're looking for affordable shopping or luxury shopping, Pattaya has a number of street markets, boutiques and shopping malls. The best bazaars to shop in Pattaya are the Thepprasit Market, The Market Pattaya and the Soi Buakhao Market. Nearby Airports

The area of Pattaya is served by the U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya International Airport. The airport is located about 30 Km from Pattaya and is locally known as the Pattaya Airport. There are no flights connecting Pattaya to Bangkok but flights are available from Phuket and Koi Samui. From the airport visitors can take the mini bus service and takes about 30 minutes to reach the city. A one-way trip costs around 200-250 Baht per person. Metered taxis are also available from the airport to the city; a one-way trip costs 750 Baht.
