Nida is a well-known travel destination in Lithuania. The largest town on the Curonian Spit, it attracts thousands of visitors every year. The Curonian Spit is a UNESCO-protected site. Nida is located at the edge of the Curonian Lagoon. The area has been inhabited since ancient times and has served as a summer home for the author Thomas Mann. A brief history about the author is displayed at the memorial Museum of Thomas Mann.

The Parnidis dune is one of the most exotic destinations to visit in the town. The dune is about 52m high and serves as a great viewpoint. There is also a lighthouse in the area that is excellent to visit. Nida is a full-fledged resort that offers visitors with all types of facilities and services. Whether one wishes to relax or have fun, Nida is the perfect destination to do so.
