The closest international airport to Lovavala is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. This airport is located about 100 kilometres away, in Mumbai. Tourists will have to hire a taxi to get from the airport to Lonavala.
Muslim tourists will be able to find a couple of Halal restaurants in Lonavala. Kinara Village Dhaba is one restaurant that is said to serve Halal food in Lonavala. Tourists should also be able to find stalls and small restaurants serving authentic Indian cuisine at the bazaars and markets in Lonavala. While here visitors must try some ‘Chikki’, which is a local sweet that is only found in the area.
