Nadi, located on the western side of Viti Levu in Fiji is not only the third largest city but is also the main port of entry into the country for those traveling by air, as it is home to the largest airport of Fiji. The city also has a good selection of shops selling a variety of thing such as clothes, jewelry, souvenirs, and much more.
Nearby Airports
Nadi International Airport is the closest airport to the city of Nadi and it is the main international airport of Fiji. Located approximately 10 kilometres from the city center, this airport has both international and domestic flights. Passengers can take the bus or get a taxi to get to their destination from the airport.
Halal Restaurants
Muslim travelers will be able to find a few Halal restaurants in Nadi. Kebab King is certified Halal while Chicken Bites and Sitar are both said to be owned by Muslims. Muslim tourists could also dine at seafood and vegetarian restaurants if unable to find Halal restaurants; they will however have to make sure non-halal ingredients are not added in the ordered dish. They should also be aware that these restaurants may serve alcohol or allow guests to bring their own.

Nadi is known to have one mosque, namely Nadi Airport Mosque. Located close to the airport, this mosque in Nadi is conveniently located for those traveling to and from the airport. Muslim visitors could make inquiries regarding other prayer facilities in Nadi when at the Nadi Airport Mosque. If unable to find a mosque or prayer room nearby, tourists are advised to offer their prayers in the hotel room when possible.
