Founder - Waqif: Hadji Mustafa son of Ishak (known as Muslihudin CekrekÄija, from Visoko) Dimensions: 212,50 m2Location: Bascarsija Cekreci Muslihudin Mosque is the oldest surviving, existing and domed mosque in Sarajevo. Its uniqueness is reflected in the slim stone minaret, which is not built onto the mosque, but its base is fully built into the southwest wall, so that it enters into with the upper level of the mosques which is called mahfil. The mosques is completely surrounded by small shops (traditional handcrafts shops), which is endowed by Cekreci Muslihuddin.
