A Collection of Daily Duas

1. Dua Before Eating
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ Allahumma barik lana fima razaqtana waqina azaban-nar “O Allah! Bless us in what You have provided us with and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”

 

2. Dua After Eating
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا، وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ Al-hamdu lillahi-llazi at'amani haza, wa razaqaniihi min ghairi haulin minni wa la quwwah “All praise is due to Allah Who has given me food to eat and provided it without any endeavour on my part or any power.”

 

3. Dua Before Starting A Journey
سُـبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّـرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنّا لَهُ مُقْـرِنينوَإِنّا إِلى رَبِّنا لَمُنـقَلِبُون Subhanal-ladzi sakh-khara lana hadza wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin. Wa inna ila Rabbina lamun-qalibun. “How perfect He is, the One Who has placed this (Transport) at our service and we ourselves would not have been capable of that, and to our Lord if our final destiny.”

 

4. Dua for our Parents
رَّبِّ اغْفِرْلِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيراً Rabbighfirli waliwalidayya warhamhuma kama rabbayani shaghiran “My Lord, forgive my sins and the sins of the father and mother, have mercy on them as they loved me when I was a kid.”

 

5. Dua for Ourselves
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاجْبُرْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي Allahummaghfirli warhamni wajburni wahdini warzuqni. “O Allah! Pardon me, have mercy on me, help me, guide me, and grant me sustenance.”

 

6. Dua Before Sleeping
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya "With Your name, O Allah, I die and I live"

Allah SWT knows best.

Let us follow the advice of our beloved Prophet and may Allah give us ease and guidance to perform our ibadah and forgive our sins. In Shaa Allah.
