Honestly, i have never seen Bintan as a holiday or a getaway destination. My perception of it has always been "oh its the same as Batam and that there's only so much to do..." but it only took me a few hours to change my perception towards Bintan!
There are alot of resorts to choose from! Today we explored Nirwana Gardens Resort. You can find alot of happening outdoor and indoor activities such as air rifle shooting, flyingfox, paint ball, bowling and many more.
Food is good too! We went to an Indian thai fusion restaurant called Spice Restaurant. I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan! It was simply delicious and whats better than having good lunch overlooking the sea horizon.
Besides food, we also explored the 5 different accommodations within Nirwana Gardens Resort. Alot to choose from. Caters for a family trip to a honeymoon.
Overall, first day was fulfilling! Can't wait for the next few days where we explore other resorts in Bintan!
