The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship was originally scheduled from 12 June to 12 July 2020. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the world and especially in Europe, it was rescheduled for 11 June to 11 July 2021.
Euro 2020 is the 16th edition of the UEFA European Championship that takes place every 4 years, this time around it is special because of the 60th birthday of the European Championship competition.
Fun fact: If France’s coach Didier Deschamps does lift the trophy, he would become the first person ever to win the FIFA World Cup and European Championship both as a player and manager. He is also the only manager at Euro 2020 to have won the tournament as a player.

Why?
I am not sure but it would be good if they get a World Cup title and European Championship at the same time. Their morale is probably high from the win during FIFA even though it's been years but they will most likely push for it.

For a player to look out for I am not so sure, there’s plenty of talent ready to shine.

France for the win. Although, I do think Croatia is going to come back stronger because they were so close to getting the title during the FIFA World Cup in 2018. I also think Turkey would be a great team to look out for.

France has really strong players right off the bat in every position along with their squad depth.

The England squad has some promising young talent mixed with well-experienced senior players. They have a rock-solid defense. It would be in their best interest to take home advantage in the semis and final since it will be played in England.

Why?
Spain because they had 2 consecutive wins (2008 & 2012), though they lost in 2016, but I think if they have trained hard enough, they might make a comeback for 2020.
France because of players like Antoine Griezmann who is in great shape and form. He was the top player and scorer at Euro 2016.

Given recent European Championship tournaments, Germany statistically has a higher probability of winning since they have reached the Semi-Finals and Finals in the previous three editions as well. Plus of course, Germany is close to my heart.
