As cliche as it sounds, no matter what your itinerary is when you are visiting Hong Kong, it is a must to dine in at Islamic Center Canteen. Located on the 5th floor of the Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Center, the food here is definitely affordable with Dim Sum dishes starting at HKD13 (SGD2.30).

2. Dong Fang Gong Lanzhou Beef Noodles

Just about 2 minutes walk from Causeway Bay Station, you can find a restaurant called Oriental Palace Lanzhou Beef Ramen. This restaurant serves mainly beef noodle (as the name suggests) and what's special about it is that the noodles are made on the spot! A small bowl of Lanzhou Beef Noodles cost HKD58 (SGD10) and if you can't get enough of beef, order a side dish of beef for HKD22 (SGD4).

3. Mingcha Limited

Calling all tea lovers! Mingcha Limited is a company specialized in premium Chinese Tea. If you have some time to spare in Hong Kong and want to experience tea tasting, you may join some of their workshops. Either you are buying it for yourself or as a souvenir, Mingcha Limited is top-notch in the world of teas. A mini bottle of tea starts from HKD99 (SGD17).

4. Wai Kee

Wai Kee is another recommended Muslim-owned eatery that you need to visit when you are in Hong Kong. This is the place for you to get your roasted duck rice fix (and of course, it is Halal!) Top on the must-try list is the well-marinated tender duck meat. And! You need to savor the crispy duck skin. While you’re there, try their very own wanton noodles and juicy wanton.

5. Big Pizza

On some nights, you just need some fast food and getting a Halal on can be a little tricky when you’re in Hong Kong. Well thankfully, Big Pizza is the place to go to get some good ol’ Halal pizza. The best part is, it opens all night long. Check out the timings below and be sure to have this eatery at the top of your mind when you need some pizza. A slice of pizza cost you HKD25 (SGD5) or you can settle for the pasta combo which comes with a drink at HKD52 (SGD10).

6. 27 Kebab House

Joining the late night club is 27 Kebab House. This is where you want to go when you’re craving for some meaty doner, biryani and anything on the middle eastern menu. If you’re overwhelmed by the menu, we’d recommend the Beef, Lamb or Chicken Doner at HKD45 (SGD8) or the Chicken Biryani HKD50 (SGD9) to name a few.

Listed on Michelin Guide’s Bid Gourmand, Bombay Dreams is a fine dining restaurant that serves the most authentic Indian cuisine. 8. Chrisly Café

Chrisly Cafe isn’t entirely Halal, but they have several branches that have Halal-certified bakeries like this one. When you’re in Hong Kong, you should never give this cafe a miss. If you’re looking to try something new, Warung Malang is the place to go. Not only do they serve delicious Indonesian food, but it also comes at an affordable price. If you need to get some rice fix, a plate of Nasi Campur costs HKD50 (SGD9), with 4 different dishes to choose from.

Islam food has been serving local cuisine and it should be one of the eateries you should try. The Pan Fried Beef Bun which is one of their signature dishes or if you are quite adventurous to try a cold dish, you can try the Chicken with Sesame Oil Sauce for HKD78 (SGD14).

2. Casablanca Restaurant & Café

1. Ebeneezer’s Kebab & Pizzeria

Ebeneezer's is one of the successful kebab chains in Hong Kong. You can also find them in Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon area. The choices of food are endless here, from kebabs which cost HKD85 (SGD15) to pizza which costs HKD98 (SGD17) and even Biryani and Tandoori.
