HalalTrip to Indonesia – Day 5 in Bali with Fatin
I woke up really early today because I was so excited to go to Bali! Bali is where my husband and I spent our honeymoon last year and now one year later, we got a chance to come here again. Our flight to Bali was at 8:20 a.m. and we checked out from the hotel at 6:00 a.m. in the morning. As the breakfast from the hotel starts at 6:00 a.m. we didn't have time to have our breakfast. However, Noor Hotels management was kind enough to pack our breakfast for us in a box! How sweet of them. I also really enjoyed my stay at Noor Hotels in Bandung and I strongly recommend anyone visiting Bandung to stay there! fatin-day-5 Finally at 11.30 a.m. we arrived at Denpasar Airport. We were greeted by our tour guide named Wanden who was Balinese. All of us were hungry so Wanden decided to take us for lunch. We stopped by a restaurant named Maliboro. The speciality of this restaurant is that they slow-pressure cook their chicken which makes the chicken very tender. The chicken bones were soft as well! After having lunch, we checked in to our hotel called Bintang Hotel at Kuta. The hotel lobby is an open air concept and the room was spacious and beautiful. Thumbs up! fatin-bali-day-5 After checking in, we rested for an hour. Later, we went to shop and our first stop was at a shop called Bali-Bali. I didn't buy anything here because I was saving my money for some stuff later. Next we stopped by Polo Ralph Lauren shop because my husband wanted to find some Polo shirts. Surprisingly he didn't buy anything because he said there were no discounts at this place and the prices were similar to Malaysia. He noticed that there were a few designs that weren't available in Malaysia though. fatin-day-5-bali After that, we stopped at our last destination called Krishna. This is the place where you can buy cheap souvenirs and they have a lot of items such as fridge magnets, key chains, massage oils and lots of other stuff. The prices are affordable and reasonable so I bought some cool purses with traditional designs of 'anyam tikar'. We then headed back to our hotel for a rest. Well I really enjoyed my first day in Bali. . Click here to view my timeline! .
