Established in 1980, the Pak Darul Islam Masjid is one of the main mosques in the area and offers daily prayers, Arabic lessons as well as a library of religious books that are mostly in Urdu. Another prominent mosque in the area is the Taqwa Masjid located at the Heilbronner backstreet near the main station and is noted for its architecture, featuring stained glass and Islamic art.
The Abubakr-Moschee was established in 2003 and offers a massive prayer room for men as well as a separate prayer area for women on the second gallery. Services are held in German and the mosque also offers a number of facilities such as a library, guest room for preachers, training rooms, dining facilities and an elevator.
Finding access to mosques and prayer facilities in Frankfurt will not prove to be much of a problem.
