Santaro by Gion has officially set sail with their newly received Halal certification by MUIS! Located in Amara Hotel at Tanjong Pagar, Santaro by Gion will be the first Halal Japanese fine dining restaurant serving Omakase Alacarte buffet. Omakase is loosely translated as “leave it to you”. Diners will select an Omakase menu and let the chef surprise them with a wide selection of Halal Japanese dishes.
Santaro by Gion’s main dining area can allocate up to 30 guests. For a more private and exclusive experience, guests may reserve private tatami rooms as well as private dining rooms. You will be welcomed by the hospitable management team, led by Madam Wang Yanli. She has over two decades of experience in the field and her staff is amicable and quick.
For the private tatami rooms, a minimum spend of $60 per person for lunch and $80 per person for dinner is required. Make your reservations early as they are subject to availability! The three private tatami rooms fit 2 pax, 4-6 pax, and 12 pax respectively.
