سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ (١)
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, for He is the Almighty, All-Wise.
Sabbaha lillaahi maa fissamaawaati wal ardi wa Huwal ‘Azeezul Hakeem
لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ
To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death. And He is Most Capable of everything.
Lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ardi yuhyee wa yumeetu wa Huwa ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer
(٣) هُوَ ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَٱلْـَٔاخِرُ وَٱلظَّـٰهِرُ وَٱلْبَاطِنُ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
He is the First and the Last, the Most High and Most Near, and He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.
Huwal Awwalu wal’Aakhiru waz Zaahiru wal Baatinu wa huwa bikulli shai’in Aleem
By reciting this surah, it is believed that the reciter will then be deemed as a faithful follower and believer of Islam. As a human, one of the most incredible benefits of reciting this surah is that if repeated before sleep, he will then be and have the honor to be the neighbor of Prophet Muhammad SAW. If the surah is also recited during the compulsory prayers, InshAllah the reciter will also be saved from any punishment in this world and will not see any evil from his family. Therefore this surah will hopefully make us courageous and look on the positive side of every event.
