The hottest Halal Japanese restaurant in the scene, The Ramen Stall’s main menu feature is.. ramen! It’s also the only halal ramen restaurant that stays open late at night (till 6 am) so you can shop at Bugis Street till you drop.

The food on the menu is not completely authentic Japanese. It has been adapted to the palates of the Singaporean locals, so it might be slightly different to what you expected, though still very delicious. The Ramen Stall has both wet and dry ramen, and an option to vary spiciness according to personal tastes for some extra spicy dishes. Ramen Stall also has many other options such as sushi, sashimi, kushiyaki, gohan and desserts.

2) Kumoya

Kumoya is the new kid on the block. Only 3 months old, this Halal certified Japanese - French cafe boasts a clean and minimalistic design that is sure have you Instagram-ing from beginning to end. Known for their fusion styled eclairs, they also recently introduced a savoury menu with dishes like Ebi Tempura or Soft Shell Pancake. Pair it with a side of fresh Yuzu soda with yoghurt and top it all off with their signature Sakura Parfait. Be warned though - they are too pretty to eat!

3) Hei Sushi

Hei Sushi is the first Halal Kaiten Sushi restaurant in Singapore and is one of the top restaurants for the best halal Japanese cuisine in Singapore. It has 6 outlets around Singapore. Kaiten Sushi is when the dishes are loaded and rotate on a conveyor belt, allowing the customer to pick out whatever they like without having to move around. To make things easier Hei Sushi also color codes their dishes according to price. That isn’t the only innovative concept of Hei Sushi though. They even have the concept of ordering menu items not available on the kaiten through an iPod that is provided at your table itself. 

Other than sushi, Hei Sushi has Japanese ramen and sashimi. Their Aburi and Neta sushi are not to be missed either. All in all, Hei Sushi is a Japanese Halal food lover’s dream come true. From children to adults, Hei Sushi is a full-scale Japanese eatery for the whole family.

4) Maki-San

This restaurant, with Halal Japanese food in Singapore, is a great place to take your whole family, but most especially the kids. The eatery takes its customers on a journey of discovery through custom-made Sushi and Japanese Salads.

You will be handed a list where you mark the boxes for your favorite ingredients, getting as creative as you wish. Then sit back and watch the magic happen in the hands of experts. Your sushi roll will then be handed over to you in a collectible colorfully designed box on top a photographable tray complete with a background. Santaro by Gion provides a fine Japanese dining experience. They even have tatami rooms to boot! Currently reapplying for halal certification by MUIS, Santaro by Gion assures that they have retained their halal Japanese food in their kitchen.
