Here's Our Top 8 Halal Food Recommendations You Need To Try At Least Once At Paya Lebar Square & SingPost

You may just want to grab some food after walking around the city and enjoying its sights and wished you had prepared a snack earlier as you are worried you won’t find Halal friendly fare in SG – but who needs to spend their time preparing meals when there are enough and more Muslim-friendly food spots in Singapore!

If you are around the Paya Lebar Square or SingPost you have many options to choose from. It is also a great place to hang around and enjoy leisurely with many clothing stores and cafes, especially if you are a foodie – you are in for a treat!

Renowned restaurants and cafes like Núodle and Hawkerman can be found at these urban hot spots. Craving hot noodles or freshly baked pastries? Paya Lebar Square and SingPost are your best bets!

1. Núodle
Núodle beef lamian

A definite must try at the SingPost Centre!

They only offer three noodle dishes – the signature Beef La Mian (SGD $8.80), Seafood La Mian (SGD $8.80), and Cool Mixed La Mian (SGD $$9.90). The dishes are prepared in 5 minutes and served in large portions!

The classic Beef La Mian is a favorite amongst the fans of Núodle; the noodles are served with beef slices, radish along with scallions and chili oil – all this floating in clear, light beef stock. The chili oil adds a kick to the dish – which you can feel at the back of your throat, however, it is what brings all the flavors together in the dish.

You have the option of selecting which type of noodle you want in the broth – thin, normal, thick, flat or leek leaves! Yes, you read that correct leek leaves – but it’s just normal noodles pulled into the shape of leek leaves. The wonderfully stringy noodles are prepared in-house - providing that authentic feel to the dishes.
