Ways to Develop a Relationship with Quran while Traveling
Remembering Allah is mandatory for all Muslims. You must remember your Lord in all the times, good or bad. And most of all you should remember Him when you are traveling, it is said that when you are traveling all your prayers are heard and it is the best part of them all.

Allah has said: "[This is] a Blessed Book (the Quran) which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad, sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded."

You can make your relationship with Allah stronger even while you are traveling. You can keep a pocket-size Quran in your bag wherever you are or wherever you are going. You can always recite Allah’s book while you are on your way anywhere. This book would act as a security of your life and will protect you throughout the journey. As it is said that Allah is with you wherever you are!

Conditions of Recitation of the Holy QuranConditions of Recitation of the Holy Quran

There are really no conditions for reciting the Quran. You just have to make an ablution, and you can recite it anywhere even when you are traveling. If you find it difficult to hold the ablution, you can memorize it so then there remains no condition, and you can recite it with the help of your memory anywhere, everywhere.

Quran can be memorized in so many easy ways. You must start with the surahs that are small like Surah Fatiha, Surah Ikhlaas, Surah Muzammil, Surah Mulk and others. Once you are done memorizing all the small Surahs of the Holy Quran, you can then memorize the longer ones thoroughly as it will become easier then. There are many apps available online that will help you in memorizing the Quran and recitation of the memorized content of the Quran does not need ablution. You are free to recite it everywhere, and that includes during your traveling as well.

Dua for an intention to undertake a journey

Translation: "O Allah, it is with your help that I attack (the enemy) and with Your help I defend, and with Your help, I depart."

This dua will protect you on your traveling, wherever you are going. Just take out a few seconds to recite this dua, and it will make your traveling experience so much better.

"O Allah, we seek goodness from you and piety from this journey and (the ability to do) good actions by which you are pleased. O Allah, ease this journey for us and make us transverse the road quickly. O Allah, You are our companion in this journey and deputy (guardian) over our household whom we left behind. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the difficulties of the journey and from seeing bad things and from a bad return at home and household, and from the dua of the oppressed".

This is another amazing dua that you can recite daily while traveling. These small things will make your relationship with Allah a lot stronger than it was. As Allah has promised to remember those who remember Him!

I believe these tips will help you out in developing a relationship with the Holy Quran while you are traveling. I hope it helps!
