Our last day was free since we didn't have any schedule for the day. After breakfast we went to the beach and had our final photos together. Since my flight to Malaysia was at night, me, my husband and Raudha spent our time at Discovery Shopping Mall. We had a massage at one of the streets shops there, where the price was very reasonable. My advice is that you check the price first before going in....Read More

We had breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 a.m. in the morning. Loved the potato wedges! We then departed from hotel at around 8:45 a.m. to watch Tarian Barong at the Batubulan Village. Later we went to a batik factory. The batik there was hand-made. The material was of good quality and the prices were reasonable. Then we went to a coffee plantation for coffee and tea tasting. There were 4 "luwak" - also...Read More

I woke up really early today because I was so excited to go to Bali! Bali is where my husband and I spent our honeymoon last year and now one year later, we got a chance to come here again. Our flight to Bali was at 8:20 a.m. and we checked out from the hotel at 6:00 a.m. in the morning. As the breakfast from the hotel starts at 6:00 a.m. we didn't have time to have our breakfast. However, Noor Hotels...Read More

From Garut we went to Bandung, which took us about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Our first stop was at Darut Tauhid located near the city of Bandung. A lot of Islamic activities were centred around the area. To my husband and me, it looked like an urban Islamic concept place with business, education and plenty of knowledge on offer. We found this place a very interesting place to go to. We then went to Rumah...Read More

We had a long day today since we were travelling by car from Jakarta to Garut. Along the way we made several stops. The first stop was at Asstro which was short for Asem Strawberry. It had a very nice view with great places to eat; the view of the paddy field is rarely seen in the city. My husband and I really enjoyed having lunch here as they served delicious food with privacy for each guest. We then...Read More

We started our day at Taman Mini Indah Indonesia. It is great for a cultural experience and provides a lot of information about Indonesia's various ethnicities, almost all that have been recognised. This place has it all for those who want to learn more about Indonesia! I personally love the culture of Minang and Jawa Tengah. Minang attracts me with its beautiful art and decorations on houses – same...Read More
