Situated in Waterford City, in the heart of the Viking Triangle, located on the Mall, the House of Waterford Crystal is a crystal manufacturing facility and visitor center that offers an experience like no other. One of the top tourist attractions in Waterford, this cultural landmark gives visitors the chance to see the various stages taken to create exquisite pieces of crystal by taking a guided tour. From the glass-blowing process to mould making, to cutting, sculpting and engraving, visitors get to experience it all. After taking a tour of the factory, visitors then get to visit the retail store which is home to the largest selection of Waterford Crystal in the world.

Prayer Facilities

Although Muslims visiting the House of Waterford Crystal will not be able to find prayer facilities within its premises, they will be able to find a few mosques in the city of Waterford. Two prominent mosques in the city include; the Central Watford Mosque and the North Watford Mosque. Muslim tourists can therefore ask staff at the attraction to guide them to the nearest prayer facility when needed.

The House of Waterford Crystal does house a café, namely the Crystal Café. Visitors to the attraction will find a variety of delicious food items and refreshments here, but Muslim tourists will have to dine on suitable vegetarian or seafood dishes, as most dishes will consist of non-Halal ingredients.
