Mui Ne is known globally for its stunning red and white sand dunes. While the White Sand Dunes is trickier to reach, it is more impressive and is the top attraction in Mui Ne. They are located about 25 kilometres away from Mui Ne and range from golden shades to pure white. The attraction is actually located next to a water body and really close to some picturesque beaches. Therefore offering a variety of things to do and see, the White Sand Dunes is ideal for families. Visitors can slide down the dunes for a small fee, or rent quad bikes and explore these artful creations of sun and wind. The grandeur of the White Sand Dunes and its diverse colors also offer fantastic photo opportunities. Those visiting the attractions also get to relax by the water, enjoy a picnic and experience a near-perfect sunset.

While visitors to the White Sand Dunes will not be able to find prayer facilities at the attraction, there is plenty of open space for Muslims to offer their prayers. Muslim tourists must also be aware that there are no known mosques or Islamic Centres in the resort town of Mui Ne.

Halal Food

Since the White Sand Dunes is a popular tourist spot, visitors will be able to find a few snack bars on site. Muslim visitors will however have to be careful with what they eat since most items will consist of non-Halal ingredients. There are also no known Halal restaurants in Mui Ne, but Muslim tourists will be able to locate plenty of restaurants serving fresh seafood.
