Named after Daniel Hudson Burnham who laid the plans for the city of Baguio, Burnham Park is located in the heart of the city. There are several places to enjoy and spend time. A skating rink where skates can be rented, bike rentals, basketball and tennis courts and a children’s playground are some of the activities and facilities that are available, which are perfect to visit with children and for a family outing too. There is a rose garden, the Orchidarium and even an Igorot garden where a statue of five Igorot tribes are erected. These are just some of the attractions worth visiting. A part of the main attraction includes the lake where you can take paddle boat rides as well. All these fun features make this an ideal place to visit with the family since there is something for everyone, which makes it a great spot for both tourists and locals. Another interesting touch is that there are photographers who will take your pictures and give it to you in a few hours.
