Olango Island is in fact a group of six islands - Sulpa, Gilutongan, Nalusuan, Caohagan, Pangan-an and Camungi. It is located in the Central Visayas region of Cebu Province in the Philippines.  You will find coral reefs, a mangrove forest and a shoreline surrounded by salt-marsh grass which makes this an ideal place for a beach getaway. Being surrounded beach scenery and flora fauna creates an atmosphere of natural beauty.You can enjoy some of the floating restaurants here too. The Olango Wildlife Sanctuary is a must visit if you are an animal lover and it is where migrating birds from places like Siberia and China fly to Olango Island during the winter season. Olango Island with its beautiful beaches is considered on f the best places for diving where corals and different species of marine life can be observed as well. Visitors can even take island tours to visit the other islands as well.

Prayer Facilities

There are no Mosques near the resorts or on the island. There are no prayer facilities at Olango Island, however, quiet outdoor and indoor areas can be used during prayer time. 

Halal Food

Mulsim travelers to the islands will not find Halal restaurants near resorts . You can always order vegetarian or seafood dishes if there is no restaurant is serving Halal food at their just to be careful. Ask the staff if the food is Halal or get more information form the locals.
