One of the largest parks in Abu Dhabi, Khalifa Park is a popular attraction as well as a prominent landmark in the city. The park features its own miniature train, library, aquarium, maritime museum and historical theme ride, providing plenty to do for the entire family. The landscape and natural scenery of Khalifa Park also offers delightful views for nature lovers and the park includes a series of fountains, lakes and waterfalls. Most of the park's design feature Islamic design elements and Arabic architecture, which are note-worthy. Picnic facilities are also available throughout Khalifa Park for families to spend a leisurely evening. Khalifa Park is home to the Murjan Splash Park - an exciting kiddies water park featuring seven water-based attractions - guaranteeing hours of fun-filled excitement for children.

Though designated prayer room facilities at Khalifa Park might not be available to guests, there is ample private space at the park that can be made use of during prayer times. There are also a number of mosques near Khalifa Park that Muslim travellers could visit, including the Sheikh Zayed Mosque - which is one of the main mosques in the United Arab Emirates.
