Description

Opened to the public in 2006, Chimelong Paradise is located in Guangzhou's Panyu District and is one of the country's biggest internationally-reputed theme parks. Travellers of all ages will be offered over 70 thrill rides and attractions to choose from such as the biggest water stunt show in the world and the ten-inversion roller coaster - which has earned a spot in the Guinness Book of Records for its exhilarating 10 loops. Some of the most popular attractions at the theme park include the Diving Coaster, 10 Inversion Roller Coaster, Giant Frisbee, Motorbike Launch Coaster, Half Pipe and Family Gravity Coaster and will undoubtedly provide a day of fun-filled excitement for the whole family. Chimelong Paradise is also just minutes away from Guangzhou city and is in the vicinity of several other attractions and places-of-interest for travellers and tourists.

Ticket Price

Entrance tickets cost around ¥180 for adults. Children between 1.2 - 1.5 metres in height will be charged ¥90 and children below that height can enter free-of-charge.

Prayer Facilities

Though designated prayer facilities at Chimelong Paradise will be unavailable for Muslim travellers, plenty of private space will be available at the park to make use of during prayer times. It is also possible to visit some of the mosques near Chimelong Paradise such as the Huaisheng Mosque which is the main mosque near Panyu. 

Halal Food

Though Halal food at Chimelong Paradise Park itself might be unavailable, Muslim travellers could visit some of the Halal restaurants near Chimelong Paradise in the Panyu District. Some of the well-known Halal spots in Panyu include the halal food canteen in the Panyu Polytechnic and the Muslim food stall at the Shawan Nan Village. Travellers may also try the Indian Hotel called Jewels of India, located at Zhong Cunjinxiushengtaiyuan Panyu District. However it is recommended to check with restaurant owners about the availability of Halal food at the restaurant prior to dining.
