The street area reflects an ancient Chinese dynastic-era street and is lined with numbers of tiny shops, vendors and boutiques selling various items ranging from snacks to antiques to souvenirs. It is an immensely popular attraction and draws in masses of tourists throughout the year. Some of the highlights at Jinli Ancient Street include the bridge and pond of thousands of goldfish as well as the Sichuan opera theatre where regular performances are held. The best time to visit Jinli Ancient Street is arguably later in the day - during dust - when the streets are bustling with activity. It is a must-visit spot for travellers sight-seeing in Chengdu.
