Railay East is one of the four Railay Beaches, along with Railay West Beach, Tonsai Beach and Phra Nang Beach. The Railay East beach is a narrower beach and visitors will be able to sight several mangroves, birds and local fishing boats. The area is also famed for its flora and fauna and will delight all nature enthusiasts and beach lovers alike. Due to its popularity as a tourist spot, several accommodation options will be available in the area, towards the north of the beach. It is also possible to walk to Phra Nang Beach - which is connected to Railay East by a path - and can be reached in about 15 minutes.

Prayer Facilities

Muslim travellers in need of prayer facilities may visit some of the mosques near Aonang Beach - Masjid Aonang and Masjid KlongHaeng are the two closest mosques and are located about a kilometre away from Ao Nang. Plenty of private space in the area is also available to make use of during prayer times.

Halal food options will be available at Aonang Village which is home to a sizable Muslim community and quite a few Halal restaurants.
