Laem Tong Beach is a beautiful beach located towards the north of Phi Phi Island. It is famed amongst tourists and travellers for its stunning pristine beaches, breathtaking scenery and the tranquil atmosphere of the environs. Laem Tong Beach faces three other islands - Bamboo Island, Mosquito Island and Hin Klang - which are known to be some of the best spots in the area for snorkelling and diving. Railay Beach and Koh Lanta are also visible in the distance. Visitors to the beach will see plenty of restaurants and boutiques in the vicinity due to the beach's popularity as a tourist attraction. Sunbathing is one of the most common activities at Laem Tong Beach and several hammocks will be found in the shade of palm trees.

Prayer Facilities

The Al-Islah Mosque is the only mosque at Phi Phi Islands for Muslim travellers in need of prayer faciltiies. The mosque is located on Ko Phi Phi Don and is prominent white building which can easily be spotted. Plenty of open space will also be available around the beach area to make use of during prayer times.

Halal Food

Though there are many restaurants in the vicinity of the beach area, it is best to enquire about the availability of Halal food prior to buying anything. There are also quite a few Halal restaurants at Phi Phi Islands for Muslim travellers due to the resident Muslim population. When in doubt, Muslim travellers may opt for vegetarian cuisine or seafood which will be readily available.
