Varna City

Description

Varna City is a huge city in Bulgaria and also a popular seaside resort. Located along the Black Sea Coast, Varna is a major hub for tourism in Bulgaria. The Seaside Park is great to relax and enjoy a wonderful time. Apart from the exotic beach in Varna there is a lot more to see and do. The Varna Archaeological Museum is one of the finest archaeological museums in Europe. It features a wide range of artifacts and dating from the Stone Age. The city center is also home to a huge Roman Bath complex which dates to the second century AD. The areas in the complex are labeled clearly as hot baths, freezing and tepid.

For family fun there are several places to visit in Varna. The Varna Karting Track is about 5km from the city center and is an ideal destination for people of all ages. The Varna Aquarium makes a great place to visit. The Varna City Art Gallery houses work from both local as well as international artists. The area of Sea Garden also has an Amusement Park and the Varna Dolphinarium.

Varna is home to some huge shopping malls like the Grand Mall, Varna Towers, Central Plaza, Pfohe Mall and Mall of Varna. All these malls and other shopping streets make Varna as a favorable shopping destination. The downtown area too has numerous souvenir shops and boutiques.

Varna City is served by the Varna Airport which is about 8km from the city center. The airport offers convenient connectivity to the city. Buses and taxis are easily available from the airport. There is also a free shuttle bus service available from the airport to the city center.

There are a few places that serve halal food in Varna City. The Orient Turkish Restaurant is the best place to enjoy delicious halal kebabs and Middle Eastern food. The Grand Hotel Dimyat can also arrange for halal food.
