Canggu is home to many landmarks of Bali located on the South of the island. From an ancient religious site to luxurious beachside attractions, Canggu has a lot to offer tourists around the world. Tanah Lot is the most iconic place in Canggu for its ancient Hindu shrine on top of an outcrop beside the ocean waves. Though the main temple grounds are off-limits, the beautiful panorama and offerings are what get tourists rushing to get there!

The natural landscape around the coasts of Canggu is famous for its black and dark grey sands. The coasts are spread over 8km and encompass various beaches like Echo Beach, Seseh Beach, Selasih Beach, Berawa Beach, Pererenan Beach, and Mengening Beach. You can find several lavish bungalows and villas dotted along the beaches. Canggu is great for observing typical Balinese village life!

Care to get your hands dirty in Balinese cuisine? Visit Iboe Sulastri Cooking Class at Tugu Hotel Bali for a cooking class taught by Iboe Sulastri herself! Not only will you cook and dine traditional dishes, but you will also be cooking with traditional methods and utensils.

Fancy yourself a horseriding experience? Bali Equestrian Centre (BEC) offers horseback riding lessons for adults and pony rides for kids! It has a boutique showcasing designer pieces where you can buy souvenirs and training books. BEC also has a cafe, pool, and playground with gorgeous views of the main riding arena.

The Ngurah Rai International Airport is the closest to Canggu. The airport is placed about 37km from Canggu and the best way to reach Canggu from the airport is by airport shuttles arranged by hotels. Visitors can also take taxis or private vans from the airport straight to Canggu!
