A beautiful mountainous town, Ehden is located at an altitude of 1450 meters in the northern mountains of Lebanon. Ideally placed along the slopes of Mount Makmal, which is a part of the Mount Lebanon Range, Ehden makes the ideal place for those looking to enjoy the best of nature. The town is good to visit in both summer and winter and is  is blessed with a lot of natural beauty and diversity. The town is historic and has served as hometown to some of the well-known people of Lebanon. For Muslims visiting Ehden, there are a number of Muslim-friendly facilities in the town

The town is best known for its restaurants, cafes and lively atmosphere. During summers visitors can be a part of the different festivals and events that are conducted at Al Midan Square.

The Horsh Ehden Nature Reserve around Ehden is a must visit for every traveller. Apart from being an important natural attraction, the Horsh Ehden Nature Reserve is also of cultural importance to Lebanon. It is a part of the remaining forest of Cedar of Lebanon.

To expereince a picturesque view of the town, visitors must head to Saydet el Hosn. The Mar Sarkis Spring is also a must-visit.
