This wonderful coastal town is a favored weekend and holiday destination for many. Known for its lovely beaches and a wide range of water sports, Port Dickson sees a number of visitors all around the year.
 
There are numerous accommodation facilities available around the beaches in Port Dickson, as well as several Muslim-friendly facilities, making it a promising halal-friendly destination.
 
The beaches in Port Dickson span over several miles and are great for enjoyment and relaxation. The Cape Rachado lighthouse was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese and till date is operational. During the months from September to March visitors can get a chance to spot different migratory birds around the cape. Fort Lukut is another attraction in Port Dickson. The fort was built in the mid-19th century and today visitors can see the remains of an old palace around the area.
 
Major highways and roads also connect this well-liked vacation destination with Kuala Lumpur and Singapore for convenient access.
 
Port Dickson also offers some good shopping. There is a bustling night market held every Saturday night close to the town center. Other places to shop in Port Dickson are Billion Shopping Centre, Oceanic Mall, TF Value, etc.
 
Also at the end of the coastline, lies a forest reserve on a historical cape that offers wildlife sightings and hiking opportunities.
