Balithe Golden Jewel of Indonesia itself! Bali is definitely one of the most visited places in Indonesia. Bali itself is an island surrounded by gorgeous beaches, breathtaking landscapes, marvelous local culture, as well as top-notch resorts and restaurants! No matter what kind of escape you are looking for, Bali has everything in store for you right away!

Bali has so many magnificent beaches, to begin with! Kuta beach is the most famous one among them all. Not only is it the perfect place to enjoy water sports and other beachside enjoyments, but Kuta beach is also where Beachwalk resides. Beachwalk is a modern landmark of Bali where plenty of dining and shopping luxuries are met.

Visit the cultural center of Bali, Uluwatu! Witness the Kecak Fire dance at the Uluwatu Temple right by the cliff's edge! The sunset views and the monkeys at the temple will ensure a worthwhile overall experience.

Are you a lover of art? Bali has the Merta Nadi Art Market where plenty of authentic Balinese handicrafts and garments are sold! There are also the Biasa ArtSpace and Nyaman Gallery where many modern and contemporary artworks made by Indonesian artists are portrayed to their visitors.

There are still so many of Bali to explore! The best way to get around the island is by renting a scooter that may cost around Rp65,000 to Rp100,000. Go to all of Bali’s other iconic places, such as the Pura Tanah Lot, the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, and Bali’s Zen Hideaway! The shops and markets selling unique Balinese garments and trinkets, like Canggu Shop, The Ubud Market, and The Seminyak Square, are definitely a must-visit! On top of that, Bali’s diverse cuisine will make a trip to Bali perfect for a culinary adventure!

Nearby Airports

Bali is served by the Ngurah Rai International Airport. The airport is about 30 minutes away from Bali’s centerDenpasar. Pre-paid taxis are available from the airport to all over Bali and ideally it will cost on average of Rp50,000. Visitors can also opt for metered taxis from outside the airport.

Quite a number of Muslim-friendly restaurants exist in Bali. Be sure to ask the restaurant to ensure that it does serve halal foods! Out of many, the recommended restaurant is The Jimbaran Restaurant where they serve Bali’s delicious seafood dishes right by the beach. Other great dining options include Jejaton Restaurant, Bebek Tepi Sawah, and The Queen’s Tandoor.

Mosques

Bali has a number of mosques spread all over the island. You will find plenty of mosques around Kuta: Masjid Ar-Rahmat, Masjid Al-Mujahidin, and Masjid Nurul Huda Tuban. Visitors can get help from locals in getting to a closer mosque—locals are very friendly and helpful in Bali.
