بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillahil-lazi la yadhurru ma’asmihi syai’un fil ardhi wa la fis-sama’i wa huwas-Sami’ul 'Aleem
In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in heaven, and He is All-Hearing and All-Knowing
اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَينِ يَدَيَّ, وَمِنْ خَلْفِي, وَعَنْ يَمِينِي, وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي, وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَن أُْغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي
Allahummah-fazni min baini yadaiya, wa min khalfi, wa ‘an yameeni, wa ‘an syimali wa min fauqi, wa a’uzu bi’azomatika an ughtala min tahti
O Allah protect me from my front, behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being taken unaware from beneath me
In every single step and time, always remember that Allah is always by your side to protect and grant your wishes. As Muslims, it is important for us to remind ourselves that things that have happened or would happen are due to the wisdom and will of Allah, hence why it is also wise for us to also accept these trials with an open heart.
Prophet Muhammad SAW has always taught us to pray when we are exposed to difficulties or things that could harm our safety. As it is also advised by the prophet to strengthen our faith in difficult times, and one of them is to increase our prayers and persistence in the face of challenges. Reciting this dua would InshAllah help us in getting protected from things that could potentially harm us as Allah would always listen to our duas.
We should also remember that it is also necessary to do our best by taking preventive and precautionary moves in approaching and doing things in the future before leaving everything in Allah’s hand. With the never-ending trials or disasters that might occur to others, may reciting this dua protect ourselves, our loved ones, and the others who might need them. Amin.
