When you talk about shopping in Busan, one of the major attractions that simply cannot be missed is the Shinsegae Centum City. Not only is this the largest mall in Busan, it is well-known as the world's largest department store that has surpassed New York City’s iconic Macy’s flagship store. This massive shopping complex is built-up of 14 floors above ground, and 2 basement floors, all of which are packed with almost every local and international brand you can think of. You probably will not make it out of the premises for at least a few hours because after you are done browsing through the amazing number of stores you can enjoy some quality time with friends and family at the entertainment area. This area features its own skating rink, theatre complex, indoor golf driving range and spa land among many others.

This is a department store that has actually been around for some time since it was opened in 1983, and in 2003 it was refurbished to take on more of a mall-like appearance.
