New York City is one of the most popular cities in the United States and is often labeled as a global trendsetter. From high-rise buildings to museums, art galleries and interesting sculptures and landmarks, New York has it all. New York City is made up of five boroughs namely Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Staten Island. The Brooklyn Bridge connecting Downtown Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan offers the best views of the city.
The Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building are the two most prominent features of the city. The museums and art galleries depict the local history and culture. New York also features huge green spaces including the Central Park, Pelham Bay Park, Flushing Meadow Park and the Fort Tryon Park.
Shopping is an inseparable part of visiting New York. The Madison Avenue is lined with designer boutiques and shops whereas popular department stores can be found in Midtown. Other interesting shopping destinations include SoHo, Chinatown, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side, etc.

The area of New York is served by three airports namely the John F. Kennedy International Airport, the Newark Liberty International Airport are the LaGuardia Airport. The Newark Liberty International Airport is located in New Jersey whereas the LaGuardia Airport caters to domestic air traffic.
 The John F. Kennedy International Airport is located in Queens and is connected by rail, buses and taxis. From the airport to Manhattan it takes about 60 minutes by subway and 45 minutes by rail. Buses regularly leave from the airport to different parts of the city. Taxis and limousines are also available from the airport and cost around $52.50 to Manhattan.  
 From the Newark Liberty International Airport trains are available to the New York Penn Station and cost around $12.50 per person. Buses and taxis are also available from the airport to different areas of New York.
