Pacco Qillo or Pakka Qilla is a strong fort perch on the hillock in the city of Hyderabad. The name "Pacco Qillo", which roughly means "Strong Fort", was derived from the fact that the fort was built using burnt red bricks. The fort was built in the 18th century when the city of Hyderabad was founded by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro.
