Situated in the Austrian Alps is the small freshwater lake of Zell, or the Zeller Lake. Lake Zell is a popular attraction throughout the year as it offers a variety of fun activities for young and old. During the summer, the crystal-clear lake is ideal for swimming, diving, water skiing, sailing, paddling, kayaking, fishing and boating, while in winter, the frozen lake is used for a plethora of fun winter sports. The lake offers a unique experience in summer, as it is quite warm, which is surprising since it is located in the middle of the Alps. If lucky, visitors will also get to see an incredible Water, Light, Music and Laser show, which takes place a few times a week, for a few months each year.
