It offers diverse activities during winter and summer, and there is a lot to explore. During winter, the Schmittenhöhe offers visitors the ultimate skiing experience; with its countless ski slopes, and in the summer, the mountain is ideal for hiking and climbing expeditions and boasts a variety of trails. The Schmittenhöhe also offers a variety of other activities for the entire family, and is therefore the ideal destination for vacations all year round. It is known for being surrounded by beautiful landscapes and is incredibly picturesque. Those visiting the attraction will also come across a variety of art pieces, objects and sculptures which are placed throughout the mountain landscape. While there are no prayer facilities for Muslims visiting Mount Schmittenhöhe, this is a small mosque in the town of Zell am See. Muslim visitors can therefore either ask to be guided to this mosque, or they can try to locate a secluded place on the mountain, to offer their prayers.

Visitors to Mount Schmittenhöhe will be able to find numerous cafés and restaurants. These dining establishments are however sure to serve non-Halal items.
