Description

Located very next to the Narita International Airport, the Sakura-no-Yama Hill is one of Narita's most scenic spots where visitors are able to catch a glimpse of the airplanes landing and taking off, while taking in picturesque views of cherry blossom trees at the same time. Its name directly translates to Cherry Mountain Park and it is also considered to be a location of spiritual significance by many Japanese families in the area. The park is especially scenic during the blooming season, when all the cherry blossom trees in the park burst into beautiful shades of pastel pink.
