The Sainsbury's Anniversary Games will feature a range of athletic events over the course of three days at the Olympic Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. The main venue of the games is the London Olympic Stadium which was first constructed in 2011 to host the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. The stadium is located on an ‘island’ site - surrounded by waterways on three sides - and can be accessed using the five bridges that link the site to the surrounding area.
A range of facilities are available at the venue – including adequate facilities for Muslim. In addition to changing rooms, medical centres and meeting rooms, the stadium offers four prayer rooms within its premises that can be used during prayer times. Travellers may also choose to visit a few of the mosques that are located in the close vicinity of the stadium – such as the Masjid e Ilyas down Canning Rd (Canning Rd, London E15 3ND, United Kingdom), Quwwat Ul Islam Masjid (62-66 Upton Lane, Forest Gate, London, E7 9LN) and Lansbury Masjid (20 Alton St, London E14 6BZ, United Kingdom).
