London’s iconic landmark, Big Ben is an attraction that is part of every visitors list of must-see sights when in the city of London. Standing at the northern end of the House of Parliament, Elizabeth Tower is actually the name of the famous clock tower, commonly known by the name Big Ben; the name first given to the massive hour bell inside the tower. The giant clock faces are the largest in Britain and they look spectacular in the night when it is all lit up. Unfortunately access inside the tower is only for UK residents and has to be sponsored by members of parliament. Tourists therefore will not be able to see the towers interior, but they will be able to appreciate this world famous landmark from outside.

Muslim visitors will not find prayer facilities at Big Ben. They will however be able to locate numerous mosques and Islamic centers in London. While central mosque; also known as the Islamic Cultural Center is the most prominent mosque in London, there are several other prayer facilities that are frequented by its locals as well its visitors.

Tourists visiting Big Ben will not find any food establishments at the famous clock tower. However those requiring Halal cuisine will not find it difficult to locate Halal restaurants in London.  Muslim tourists will find numerous restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, including Indian, Bangladeshi, Turkish, Egyptian, Pakistani and more.
