Geneva International Airport also known as Cointrin airport is situated in Geneva, Switzerland. The airport is 4km away from Geneva and also runs across Switzerland and France border. This airport is accessible from both country namely Switzerland and France. Persons from flights to and from france do not have to go through the Custom procedure if they remain in the France part of the airport.
There are two Terminals in the airport T1 and T2.
T1 is further divided into 5 piers namely : A, B, C, D and F
Pier F is the French sector of the airport and exclusively used for person travelling to or from France.

There is a meditation room called "Lieu de recueillement" located in the transit area in the mezannine level.
There is no known Halal food outlet in the airport. However, there are many cafe's and restaurant which has many vegetarian options.
There is a railway station that connects the airport to Geneva and other cities in Switzerland. There are also charter buses and buses taking you to many locations in the city. You can also find taxi services and many car rental agencies.
