Visitors to the Franklin Park Zoo will not be able to find prayer facilities. They can either find a clean and quiet place within the park to offer their prayers, or they will have to make use of the facilities offered at one of the many mosques in Boston, such as the Islamic Center of Boston and Masjid Al Noor.
Giddy-Up Grill and Kalahari Kitchen; located within the Franklin Park Zoo, offer a variety of delicious food items for kids and adults. There are also numerous snack stands conveniently located throughout the zoo. The food served at any of these outlets will not be Halal certified, Muslim visitors can therefore either dine on suitable seafood and vegetarian dishes or they can also take along some snacks, as the zoo has several picnic areas.
