The orginal Mosque was built by early Indian Muslims 1859. The current Mosque was built in 1907. This mosque was officially gazetted as a protected National Monument of Singapore in 1979. The mosque architecture is a beautiful mix of Southern Indian, Moghul and European influences. It has a capacity of 3000.
