Singapore is home to numerous family-friendly attractions, and Woodlands Waterfront is definitely one of them. This 11 hectare coastal park offers stunning views of the sea, and consists of a 1.5 kilometre long waterfront promenade, a 400 metre refurbished jetty and a large playground, thus making it a favorite amongst locals and tourists alike. Within the lush green park, visitors will also find a scenic trail, tracks for cyclists and runners, picnic areas and a variety of flora and fauna. The refurbished jetty found here is the longest recreational one in Singapore. It is ideal for a leisurely evening stroll and also offers visitors a chance to try their hand at fishing.

While Muslim tourists may not be able to find prayer facilities at Woodlands Waterfront, they will definitely be able to find a secluded area within the park to offer their prayers. They could also visit one of the numerous mosques in Singapore. Some of the most popular mosques in the city include Masjid Sultan, Masjid Abdul Gaffoor, Darul Aman Mosque, Al-Istighfar Mosque, Malabar Masjid and Masjid Omar Kampong Melaka.
Woodlands Waterfront does house a restaurant, namely Rasa Istimewa. This dining establishment is known to serve Halal dishes, thus making it ideal for Muslim visitors. Muslims visiting the park can therefore choose to dine at this restaurant, or since the park is the perfect spot for picnics, they could take along some snacks.
